Celebrating our 95th Anniversary

Do you know that Nanyang Primary started off with only 100 pupils as part of Singapore Nanyang Girls' School in 1917?

We have come a long way and we are celebrating our 95th Anniversary this year.

Give us your ideas on how we can celebrate our school's birthday so that it would be meaningful and memorable for everyone.

Please submit all your suggestions by 2nd March 2012.

  11. The piano in the canteen is spoilt. We should replace it with a new one and put it in a quieter place.

  16. I suggest that we can let everyone write about his/her experience in Nanyang on a ceramic tile before pasting it on the walls of the school.

  17. Lets just do a giant party in school+play, and compile a collection of essays/stories in a book, to either give or sell.

  19. We can throw a fantastic party, have a wall of rememberance, give out a small booklet about the past ( How NYPS came about ect. ) We can also follow the same tradition ( Giving out Longvity Buns). We can have a party at the courtyard that holds booth. ( Eg. Quiz booth , and stuff that you can test your knowledge on NYPS on)
    Thanks!

  20. I suggest that we should hold an arts carnival and let classes set up booths, have a concert, students may sell their own art piece either at the booth or donate it to have an auction. :)
